A laptop in trouble

Lucy was working on her laptop when the screen went black. She tried to click on a few things, but nothing worked. So she called her brother Tom, who knows a lot about IT. Tom came in the evening and found the problem quickly. Her charger was broken, so the battery was empty.

The next morning, Lucy bought a new charger online. Now the laptop works again, and all her files are safe. She has also sent an email to her grandmother to tell her the story.

Her grandmother doesn't use the internet very much. She prefers reading the newspaper and watching the news on television. So Lucy is going to write her a postcard and post it on Saturday. She has already bought a stamp at the post office.
