Last Saturday, Julie arrived in a town she didn't know, to see her friend Pierre. Pierre lived in an old block of flats in the town centre. But Julie couldn't find the street, and she was lost. On the square, there was a big crowd in front of the church.
Julie asked a passer-by for directions. » He answered: "Cross the bridge, then go straight on." » "At the corner of the street, next to the town hall, turn left." » "Your friend's block of flats is behind the library."
Julie crossed the bridge, and she turned left. She arrived in front of a big building with a beautiful entrance. Pierre was waiting for her outside, in the middle of the courtyard. » a dit Pierre. "My neighbourhood is very lively, but it's easy to get lost!" said Pierre.
